Applying false lashes

So part of yesterday's class was about applying false lashes.
The instructions were simple enough but somehow when it came to the application - let's just say, we laughed a lot. :)
I want you to know that if you fail the first couple of time, it's normal. We've all been there, the good news is you can re-use well maintained false lashes 10 - 15 times, so get in a lot of practice.

A few things I really want to mention before the instructional video:
Firstly - the best glue for false lashes is without a doubt the DUO glue, which you can purchase from M.A.C.
Oh and don't be alarmed, the fishy smell is normal =)

Secondly -  put on the lashes only after you've finished your eye makeup.
Otherwise, the powder from your eyeshadow will fall unto your false lashes which never looks nice.

Lastly - try not to get depressed when you take them off, you're still pretty ;)

I know that in the video, Pixiwoo makes it look very simple but truth be told, it really is that easy.
You just need to practice a few times.
It reminded me of the very first time i was going to try on colored contact lenses. I was so excited to see what i would look like with blue eyes but i just couldn't get them on no matter how desperately i tried. Forty five minutes and half a box of Kleenex later, i had on a single colored lens and gave up on the second. But a few days later, i was popping them in in less than five seconds.
Same thing with lashes. Hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll have both eyes done in less than a minute.
